Meet the Attorneys
Founding Attorney
Corey Lederman represents people injured in accidents and parents of children with disabilities in impartial hearings against the New York City Department of Education. Before founding the firm, he represented plaintiffs harmed by defective pharmaceutical and medical device products, victims of medical malpractice and sexual abuse, and plaintiffs whose civil rights had been violated.
He clerked for a New Jersey State Court judge in the civil division, and during law school interned at the Appellate Division, Second Department, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Of Counsel
Angela Shamay brings significant administrative hearing and trial experience to the firm, built over a public-sector career that includes roles at the New York City Police Department and the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission.
After law school she clerked for several New Jersey State Court judges in the civil, criminal, and family divisions. As a student she interned with the NYPD, the New York State Courts Access to Justice Program, the New York City Family Court Volunteer Attorney Program, and Bronx Family Court.
